You may have heard about the relatively rare opportunity to see all of the planets at the same time. It received a lot of news coverage, but since it took place just before dawn you probably missed it! Well, here it is! Not too exciting, really. Neptune and Uranus are barely visible. Pluto is to the right of Saturn, but its never really "visible". Mercury is missing, being just below the horizon as the sun is starting to brighten the sky to the NW, left on the photo. It is interesting to see the planets are all very close to being in the same plane, called the ecliptic. The sun is in the same plane, of course. The light dome on the right is from Santa Clarita, as this was taken from Lockwood Valley, west of Frazier Park, CA, on 6/25/2022.
